I got to learn how to surf!
Hoy andaba escuchando a Jack Johnson y muchas de sus canciones siempre me recuerdan a la playa y el surf y me acorde de estas fotos que habia visto hace mucho tiempo que me parecieron impresionantes de este proyecto que hizo Mark Tipple un fotografo australiano que estuvo trabajando en este proyecto por 3 años tomandole fotos a surfistas y bañistas debajo del agua. Tripple cuenta que fue accidental el traia en mente hacer un proyecto pero todavia no sabia donde conseguir los fondos que necesitaba. Mark vio a un grupo de jovenes nadando en la playa de Coogee Beach en Sidney, cuando llego una ola fuerte y tomo a todos por sorpresa, Mark se sumergio bajo el agua para protegerse y al mismo tiempo apunto su camara hacia estas personas sumergidas y observo la primera foto que sería despues la serie de "The Underwater Project".
Today i was listening to Jack Johnson and a lot of his songs remind me of the beach and surfing then I remembered these pictures I had seen long time ago that I found really impressive was this project of a australian photographer Marq Tipple who was working on this project for 3 years taking pictures of surfers and swimmers underwater. Tripple says it was accidental who this project came out , he had a project in mind but still didn't know where to get the funds needed. Mark saw a group of young people swimming on the beach at Coogee Beach in Sydney, when a strong wave came and took everyone by surprise, Mark was immersed under water to protect himself and at the same time pointed the camera and watch these people submerged. That was the first picture that would be after the series of "the Underwater Project".
